Robbins-Gioia Appoints Jon Love As Senior Vice President For Commercial Operations March 22, 2004, Alexandria, VA - Robbins-Gioia, LLC, the leading provider of program management services, announces the appointment of Jon Love as senior vice president for commercial operations. Love brings a wealth of commercial knowledge and experience to this position, having recently served as vice president of operations for Avaya. In his new role, Love plans to expand Robbins-Gioia’s interests in the commercial market. “There are significant growth opportunities as the economy turns around and organizations are making more capital purchases,” he said. “We have been very successful in the government market and growing our commercial share complements that. We plan to develop commercial-specific offerings to help commercial organizations increase their profitability and efficiency. And we will translate appropriate government solutions to the commercial space.” Love has held a number of positions with increasing responsibilities within AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya. He was responsible for the profitability of Avaya Implementation Services Worldwide and led teams of more than 4,000 people. He was also the area sales vice president for the Michigan Region for Lucent Technologies, where he directed a 200-person organization that produced more than $200 million per year in revenues from the sale of voice, video, and data solutions to many of Lucent’s largest customers. In 1998, Love was listed in Crain’s Detroit Business “40 under 40” most influential business leaders in Detroit. “We are confident that Jon will provide Robbins-Gioia with the leadership and expertise we need to continue to provide value to our commercial customers,” said Gene Bounds, chief operating officer, Robbins-Gioia. “It is a privilege to have him on our team.”
