The APEX quality control program emphasizes understanding the Government's needs and desired results at the beginning of the life cycle, as we develop proposals and kick off TO's, to ensure the Government receives the highest quality products and services. Our systematic approach integrates quality requirements, quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement within an overall project life cycle to ensure outstanding performance and continuous process improvement.
Our Quality Manager (QM)
- Establishes strong relationships with functional teams & process owners to plan the quality program.
- Develops a strong understanding of baseline processes, program scope, stakeholders, cost and schedule, risks, and other internal and external factors.
- Determines specific standards and procedures (S&Ps) during the planning process as the basis for quality monitoring and assessment of performance.
- Works within the DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle, and tailors and applies best practices from A Guide to the Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®Guide), International Organization for Standardization, Capability Maturity Model® Integration, and Lean Six Sigma as appropriate.
