Woody Mewborn President, Commercial Division Acting President, Government Division
Woody Mewborn is president of Robbins-Gioia's commercial division and serving as acting president of Robbins-Gioia's government services division. The commercial division encompasses Robbins-Gioia's financial services group; private sector/commercial group addressing the automotive, energy, manufacturing and high-technology industries; and the international group, which delivers R-G solutions to clients around the world. The government services division provides management consulting to clients in the civilian and defense agencies as well as the intelligence communities. In bringing these groups together, Woody leverages Robbins-Gioia's vertical knowledge and expertise to strengthen its impact across multiple markets.
Woody brings 37 years of business acumen and leadership in the IT industry to Robbins-Gioia. Before joining Robbins-Gioia, Woody was at Sun Microsystems, Inc., a $13 billion global supplier of network computing solutions, where he was vice president of Sun-Federal sales. At Sun since 1996, his career included positions of increasing responsibility in financial services, strategic programs, and general contracting.
Woody earned a B.S. in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
